Marcato JP1 Jumping Hour
Introducing the Marcato Jumping Hour – Limited Edition, a distinctive automatic timepiece that celebrates mechanical creativity and refined British design. Produced in strictly limited numbers, with just 75 pieces available per dial, the Marcato reinterprets the rare jumping hour complication with modern engineering and contemporary proportions. Inspired by early 20th century jump hour watches, it combines historical character with present-day precision. At its heart is the Swiss-made Sellita SW300 automatic movement, enhanced with the Prestex JP1 jumping hour module, delivering an instantaneous hour change displayed through a dedicated aperture. This dynamic complication offers a captivating alternative to traditional timekeeping, combining technical intrigue with everyday wearability.
The Marcato Jumping Hour is housed in a beautifully sculpted 39mm stainless steel cushion case, balancing vintage character with modern presence. A slim 11.75mm profile ensures comfort on the wrist, while the exhibition case back reveals the precision movement within. The dial layout is clean, architectural and highly legible, with a peripheral minute track and bold jumping hour display that create visual depth and symmetry. Finished with refined detailing and paired with a classic leather strap, the Marcato embodies understated sophistication. Strictly limited to 75 pieces per dial, it is designed for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate independent spirit and mechanical innovation, a confident expression of heritage watchmaking reimagined for today.
