Neil Duckworth's family business, Prestons of Bolton, was founded in 1869, supplying jewellery and watches before introducing the Prestex name during the 1920s. Prestex watches quickly established a reputation for quality and reliability, becoming recognised both in Britain and overseas.
As the family business expanded throughout the twentieth century, Prestons became an authorised retailer for many of Switzerland's finest watch manufacturers, including Omega, Rolex and Heuer. Although the original Prestex watches were eventually discontinued, the name remained close to the family's heart.
After spending decades working within the international watch industry, Neil Duckworth fulfilled a lifelong ambition by reviving Prestex for a new generation. Today's collections honour that remarkable heritage while embracing contemporary British design and modern Swiss craftsmanship.
